Do you suffer intolerance to gluten? Do you miss chocolate cakes? We’ve got something special for you! No bean or beet cake has convinced us so far. But chickpea brownie is so good that it is as good as the traditional brownie. If we hadn’t told our families it was the chickpea cake, nobody would have noticed;) Enjoy the new recipe and stop crying for gluten.

Ingredients:

about 240g canned/cooked chickpea
6 tbsp peanut butter
5 tbsp almond butter
150g maple /agave syrup (about 10 tbsp)
½ tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
a few drops of vanilla extract/aroma
pinch of salt
50g dark chocolate

Instructions:

Blend the chickpea well. Add all the ingredients, except for the chocolate, and mix well (you can use the blender for combining all the ingredients together). Chop chocolate into pieces and melt using a water bath.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C . Put the baking paper on the baking pan (square or circle - about 20 cm diameter). Place half of the batter in the baking pan. Add melted chocolate to the remaining batter and mix well..

Place the chocolate batter in the baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Leave on a wire rack to cool. Cut and serve when cooled. Enjoy!
