MILLET POWER BALLS (gf)

Post workout endorphins is what we like most. That’s why we do our best to prepare our pre or post workout meals in a way they provide us with the required energy:) Anybody who attended our anniversary event last Saturday had the chance to try one of our most favorite sweet snacks that is not only tasty but nutritious.  Millet power balls are delicious and healthy but they are also very easy to make! Try it yourselves!





Ingredients:

100g millet groats
1 cup dates
1/2 cup nuts (e.g. nut mix)
5 tbsp coconut shreds
4-5 tbsp maple syrup
coconut shreds to roll


Instructions:

Cook rinsed millet and leave to cool. Cover the dates with hot water and leave for about 5 minutes. Grind the nuts or chop with a knife finely.

Put the millet into a bowl. Add coconut shreds and nuts. Take the dates out of the water, chop and add to the millet. Add the maple syrup. Blend everything well.

Shape small balls out of the millet mixture and coat each ball in coconut shreds.
