CHICKPEA PIZZA

The number of people avoiding gluten is getting higher. So we’ve decided to prepare some gluten free recipes. We experimented and this is how one of our favorite gluten free recipes was discovered. It’s so delicious. For sure, it will not be the last time we’ve made this pizza.

 

Ingredients:

1 cup chickpea flour
1/2 cup corn flour
15 dag fresh yeast
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup warm water
salt
2 tsp Herbes de Provence
3 tbsp olive oil



Instructions:

Combine the yeast with sugar and water. Mix and leave to prove. Then add sifted flour, salt and spices and start kneading the dough (just like any other yeast dough). At the end, add the olive oil. The dough is ready when it is no longer sticky. Cover and leave in a warm place for about 1 hour. Then roll the dough (the shape of a circle) and put your favorite toppings: tomato sauce, mushrooms, onion, olives, pepper, avocado, etc.

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Put pizza in the oven for 9-12 minutes. If you bake your pizza on a stone 9 minutes is enough.

You can serve your pizza with rocket leaves and sprinkle with some vegan parmesan (ground almonds, nutritional yeast and garlic). Enjoy!
