Weekend has begun:) It’s time for some homemade dessert. This time gluten free and full of apples. You can make almost anything out of millet - from cutlet to birthday cake! So millet is the main ingredient in this recipe. Go and do the shopping - you’ll need to have some sport before having a piece of this vegan cake. No one can resist it.

Ingredients:

200 g millet groats (dried)
5 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 package vanilla pudding
a few drops of vanilla extract
6 tbsp soy milk
2.5 tbsp raisins
2.5 tbsp dried cranberries
½ tsp gingerbread spice mix
4 large sour apples
1 tbsp agave syrup

Instructions:

Rinse the millet in a cold water. Then cook the millet for about 15 minutes. Leave the millet to cool and then place it in a large mixing bowl. Add vanilla pudding, soy milk, vanilla extract and maple syrup. Blend all the ingredients well. Place the batter into the rectangle cake tin covered with baking paper.

Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes. Plump the raisins and cranberries in hot water for 10-15 minutes. Then drain them. Place raisins, cranberries and apples on a heated frying pan. Pour agave syrup over the fruit and roast for a few minutes until the apples are a bit soft.

Put the apple and raisins mix over the top of the millet batter.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Bake the cake for about 45 minutes.
