CINNAMON OATMEAL WITH FRUIT AND APPLE CHIPS


The weekend is over and it’s time we got back to our job and family responsibilities. To do so we need energy. And what’s better in the morning than sugar free oatmeal.




Ingredients (serves 2)

2 cups plant based milk
300g rolled oats
2-3 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 apple
1 banana
blueberries (or other fresh or frozen fruit)
4 tbsp dried cranberries
2 tbsp of chopped walnuts
1 tsp cinnamon
a few apple chips


Instructions:

Bring the milk to a boil. Add the oats, mix and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and creamy. Then add maple syrup, apple (cut into cubes) and cinnamon. Mix well.

Add cranberries, blueberries and banana (cut into slices). Mix and spoon into serving bowls. 

Top with chopped walnuts and apple chips. Enjoy!
