It’s time for quick, nutritious breakfast providing us with lots of energy in the morning. It’s a recipe perfect for anyone who loves breakfasts served warm or want to pack their lunchboxes to work. Remember that even the best coffee is not a substitute for the real breakfast.
Ingredients ( serves 1):
3 tbsp couscous
1 tbsp raisins
1 large sour apple
1.5 tbsp maple syrup
1 fresh fig
1 banana
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions:
Combine couscous with raisins and cover it with hot water so that the water is 1-2 cm over the couscous. Cover it and leave for 10-15 minutes.
Cut fruit into smaller parts. Heat the maple syrup in a pot. Add the fruit and mix.
Roast the fruit in maple syrup for a few minutes, until the fruit is soft. Then add cinnamon.
Serve couscous in a dessert serving glass by putting the alternating layers of couscous and fruit.
