Everybody knows that in summer you can have waffles almost anywhere. But nothing tastes better than homemade vegan waffles. Here’s another recipe for vegan waffles. Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s not so difficult to make them;)
Ingredients (serves 4):
1 cup plant based milk
1 cup sparkling water
2 cups wheat flour
pinch of salt
3 tsp baking powder
15g vanilla sugar
1 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
seeds out of 1 vanilla pod
Instructions:
Sift the flour to a large mixing bowl. Add milk and start mixing. While mixing, slowly add water, sugar, vanilla seeds and coconut oil. Keep mixing until the mixture is smooth.
In the meantime, spread the waffle iron with some oil and preheat it. Bake for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
We used waffle iron of 1400 W. If your waffle irons’ power is less, the cooking time will be longer.
Serve hot with your favorite topping, e.g.: whipped coconut cream, fruit or icing sugar.
