RICE “PANNA COTTA”


It’s time for Italian dessert. Of course in vegan version. Here’s the recipe for our Panna Cotta but the main ingredient here is rice! The dessert is served with raspberry sauce and it’s simply delicious. Check it out and enjoy sugar free dessert:)




Ingredients (serves 1):

1 cup plant based milk
1 cup rice flakes
1 tsp agar-agar powder
1 tbsp agave syrup
a few drops of vanilla extract or seeds out of 1 vanilla pod

Dressing:

4 tbsp raspberries
agave syrup (the amounts depends on your preferences)




Instructions:

Bring the milk to a boil. Add rice flakes to the boiling milk and agar and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring from time to time. 


Leave the flakes to cool for a while. Then add agave syrup and vanilla extract (vanilla seeds) and blend to get a smooth mixture. Pour the mixture into a glass/serving dish.


Blend raspberries with agave syrup and pour over the rice mixture. 


Garnish with fresh raspberries/ sprig of mint etc. Refrigerate until fully set: at least 1 hour. Enjoy!
