Weekend is coming. And when it’s weekend time, it’s vegan dessert time. Chocolate at its best. Lots of chocolate:) To all chocolate fans - here’s the recipe for vegan chocolate brownie with walnuts! It disappears quickly, not even a crumb is left;)
Ingredients:
150g wheat flour
100ml vegetable oil
150g sugar
5 tbsp cacao powder
100g dark chocolate
1 tsp baking soda
4 tbsp ground flaxseed + 8 tbsp hot water
3-4 drops vanilla extract
pinch of salt
100 ml hot water
2 handfuls walnuts
Instructions:
In a small bowl, add the flaxseed meal and water. Stir to combine. Chop the walnuts finely. Crush the chocolate with your hands over the mixing bowl. Add cocoa powder and hot water. Wait for a moment until chocolate starts melting. Then start mixing the ingredients. Mix until you get smooth mixture. Add sugar, flaxseed mixture, vanilla extract, salt and then mix again. Add vegetable oil and walnuts and keep mixing until the mixture is smooth. Sift dry ingredients and add to the rest of the batter. Now mix all the ingredients with a spoon or hands (the batter is really thick).
Preheat the oven t 190 degrees C. Bake the cake for about 25 minutes.
Leave on a wire rack to cool. Serve with icing sugar on top. Enjoy!
