COCONUT MILK

You can buy coconut milk almost at any grocery or a market.  However, it is not the cheapest milk available. So why not try and make your own coconut milk which is even better than the one you buy, and what’s more it does not contain any preservatives and improvement agents. It’s cheaper and you can finally enjoy homemade coconut milk more than once a day;) But remember - use only organic coconut shreds which do not contain any sulphates. Such shreds are available at any organic shop or at any shop with organic products. Let’s go!

 

 

Ingredients:
1 cup coconut shreds
2 cups water

Instructions:
Combine the coconut shreds and water in a blender.  Allow the mixture to rest over the night.
The next day, blend on high for about 4 minutes.
Pour the mixture over a nut milk bag (thick sieve) directly to a bottle or a jar (the coconut pulp will remain in the bag or a sieve).
The milk is ready. Store in the fridge up to 3 days.
