WE EAT... WE EXERCISE

We love food:) There’s no question about that. Of course when having amazing vegan food, you have to bear in mind the consequences. So you can’t forget about daily workouts. As M. mentioned in our previous post, you can’t cheat on calories.

A couple of years ago we introduced daily workouts into our lives. Each of us has different goals. Exercise/workout can have different meanings and different goals for anyone.

K. has been exercising for many years. However, her goal is not to build muscles or lose weight, but to stay fit and healthy, and of course burn calories after having pizza, bread or any other vegetarian food.

M., on the other hand, for many years only liked riding a bike. Everything changed a few of years ago. Her goal became to lose weight. But this goal changed in time.
Each of us started doing different workouts. K. fell in love with dancing: zumba and bachata, which have become her favorite sports.
M. fell in love with weight lifting and strength trainings.
We started working out with personal trainers, both of whom had completely different attitude towards our non-meat and non-dairy diet.  However, it was worth working with them. During training sessions we were taught how to do particular exercises properly and how to plan our daily workout routines adjusted to our personal needs (which sometimes change - but you will read about it in a separate post soon).

Today, we exercise alone. Since M. adopted her dog, she started jogging more, and she does her favorite weight lifting at home :) M. is thinking about CrossFit and dreams about participation in Runmageddon race.
K. keeps dancing zumba and bachata, and regularly does functional trainings.

Are we bored sometimes? Are we sometimes fed up with workouts?
Of course, sometimes we are. But there is always a time when you just have to make yourself get up and start the work out. Then, there is some pain at first, but at the end lots of joy and satisfaction. And let’s not forget about delicious vegan food waiting.
And since we eat, we exercise. No miracle diet or starvation dieting can replace a good workout.
