A few years ago we were not fans of oatmeal of any kind. Actually, we thought rolled oats were disgusting. We discovered it recently when started intensive work outs. Healthy and filling breakfast, full of fiber and minerals. You can create almost anything out of rolled oats.We want to present our favorite type of oatmeal which tastes like an apple pie. Quick and easy recipe
Ingredients (serves 2):
250 g rolled oats
2 fresh apples diced/ grated
any favorite fruit (optional)
2 handfuls of favorite nuts (cashew nuts, walnuts etc.)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1-2 teaspoons cinnamon
250 ml plant milk (coconut/almond)
1 tablespoon brown sugar/ xylitol or 1/2 tablespoon agave syrup
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons almond flakes/ coconut shavings
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C. Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix everything. Spread into a baking dish and top with almond flakes or coconut shavings. Bake in preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes. Serve hot.
