YEAST PUMPKIN WAFFLES

Let’s go crazy in the kitchen. Something special for children but not only. Waffles - pumpkin waffles! Perfect for this time of year and so delicious. We fell in love with their taste. Kids love it so usually we  prepare the double batch.




Ingredients:

10g fresh yeast
2 cups plant based milk
2.5 cups flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 cup grated pumpkin
1/2 cup vegetable oil
a few drops vanilla extract
pinch of salt



Instructions:

Combine yeast with warm milk and sugar. Leave for a few minutes to rise.

Blend grated pumpkin with vegetable oil and vanilla extract until you get smooth mixture.

Add blended pumpkin to the yeast. Add a pinch of salt and mix well. Then, sift dry ingredients and mix. 


You can start baking the waffles.. However, we advise you left the batter for about 40 minutes before baking. Bake for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown. 


We used waffle iron of 1400 W. If your waffle irons’ power is less, the cooking time will be longer. 


Serve with favorite toppings. Enjoy!
